Lisa McInroy joined Western Development Group in February 2007 and has over 30 years of experience managing commercial real estate. She oversees our portfolio of Class A office/mixed use, retail, medical office and industrial buildings, in Colorado and Wyoming.
Lisa started her career in San Francisco, managing assets for union pension funds while working for a local developer. After a move to Colorado in the early 90’s, she joined Prime West, a Denver based developer as their Vice President of Property Management, where she supported the team on office and industrial development in the Denver Tech Center, Interlocken and Meridian business parks, as well overseeing property and asset management for institutional clients.
Her ability to lead the client experience, whether during the transition from development to operations, or simply from lease to occupancy, and to customize that experience based on the needs of the client, contributed to her decision to transition into a more traditional third-party management role with the Frederick Ross Company (Newmark Knight-Frank.) Lisa worked on Class A, mixed use assets in the Cherry Creek sub-market, and began to develop relationships with owners, tenants, and local leaders in this area.
Soon after leaving Frederick Ross, Lisa joined Western Development Group in a part-time capacity, managing newly acquired, distressed properties being assembled for redevelopment. The success of these developments required full time attention, and in 2009, Lisa expanded her role providing full-service property management, leasing, coordination and development of HOA declarations and guidelines, while continuing to work with the development team decommissioning buildings for demolition and redevelopment. In 2019, during a break between development projects, Lisa established Western Asset Services, a division of Western Development Group that specializes in third party property management and expanded that division in 2022 with the purchase of the property management arm of Health Connect Properties, adding medical office specialties to Westerns portfolio with totals over a million square feet.
Lisa has been a member of the Cherry Creek North Business Improvement District Board of Directors since January 2020 and served as its board chair in 2023. In addition, she was appointed to the Cherry Creek North Business Improvement District Design Advisory Board. She is a licensed real estate broker in Colorado and Wyoming, and the responsible broker for Western Asset Services. Lisa attended Metropolitan State University, is an active member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and is a candidate in the Institute of Real Estate Management’s Certified Property Manager (CPM) program.
